My friend Chip and I discuss the idea of GM re-issuing the 69′ Camaro as a brand new vehicle (69′ on the outside) with a modern chassis, drive train, air bags, etc. We also breifly discuss the “Barret Jackson Effect”. So I’m fairly convinced that I’m not a complete jerk by thinking that a base model car being restored and then cloned/tribute to a rare car, then sold for a $50k or more profit, causing all muscle cars in junked, decent, and/or restored condition to spike upwards and out of the reach of the rest of the general public.
