This past Monday on the Travel Channel, Anthony Bourdains’ “No Reservations” aired. Now I like the guy, I don’t like most of the food he eats. I mean, when my wife and I watched him travel to the UK and eat bone marrow cooked by a guy that redefined “Creepy”, we didn’t want to watch him anymore. I mean this guy eats anything, and loves it.

Anyway, on the latest episode he traveled to Cleveland Ohio. Well, this is where Brett Campbell is located. Brett has been on several episodes of TDC. He is the owner of TransAm Specialties and has a very popular website 78ta.com. Brett’s 78 Trans Am was used in a mock drag race in this particular episode of No Reservations. Anthony Bourdain pulled up in the TA next to the food critic that had just written a not so savory article about Mr. Bourdain. The result to settle the score, of course was a drag race, which ended with said critic hitting a phone pole head on…

I recorded this episode to my DirecTivo, both audio and video (S-Video) went into my digital video camera, sitting in “Digial Passthru” mode and straight into the iMac. Then using Apples’ brand new iMovie I editied it, placed Bretts’ logo and exported it uncompresed (6gig for a 3 min video). Then using VisualHub (you guys rock) since it exports FASTER than Quicktime I was able to quickly export as both iPod and WMA. VisualHub is one of the few applications that I highly recommend any Mac users buying.
