I’m sick.  I just have got to have a problem.

What if…  Instead of gold accents, what if it were silver?  Again, yes, we’ve discussed it, but what if the gold accents could be made silver?  And I mean the horn button logo, the shifter bird, the power window plug birds, and the center cap birds…

What if?

Here’s another thing to think of the shaker…  Should it say “455″ or should it say 7.4 Litre?

After all the Pontiac 400 engine (400 cubic inches) converts to 6.6 liters..  So a 455 converts to 7.4 liters…

Just an update for those of you that are following this project.  Some engine and interior parts were ordered and the car was ‘torn into’ a bit further, however Brett and crew won’t be able to go full steam ahead for another 2-3 weeks while they finish up other customer vehicles.

As far as the paint goes, those of you that know me understand that the paint has been really messing with me.  I love blue, especially the blue 78 on the taspecialties.com site.

Blue 78 - TA Specialties

So, maybe my second TA will be a blue one, but not this one.  Project TA is going to be a 78 Special Edition clone, black with all the “SE” gold accessories, still with black cloth interior.

Yes, blue and silver would really stand out as being a one of a kind, but I’ve always wanted the black and gold.   So, my mind is made up, and that’s that.

I’ve also added to the TDC gallery the resurrection of a 1977 Trans Am Special Edition.

More updates later..
